The Menopause Space_Podcast_Dr. Rebecca Lau_The Use of HRT in Menopause

Dr. Rebecca Lau

Dr Rebecca was raised in New Zealand and did her basic medical training there, she moved to Hong Kong in 2002 and sat the HK licensing exams and subsequently her diploma in Dermatology and fellowship exams in the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

After working in the HK Hospital Authority she entered private practice in 2008 and has been very happy to be a family doctor for all the lovely patients of different ages, shapes and sizes she has looked after.

She has three pretty cool kids and an even cooler husband, is currently a student of the beautiful game of tennis (learning something new in middle age!), and always interested in keeping up with new advice and treatment that change the practice of medicine.

What we know about menopause often comes from the media, like seeing comical hot flushes on TV or debates on topics like Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

We are on a mission to share new, relevant and evidence-based information so that those experiencing symptoms can get the help they need.

Host Lisa Tarquini speaks to Hong Kong-based General Practitioner, Dr. Rebecca Lau about managing menopause symptoms, and the debate about HRT.
